Initiated by the “Digitalization of the Linguistic and Cultural Heritage of the Indigenous Peoples of the Arctic” Arctic Council SDWG project and inspired by the Arctic Council Permanent Participants, the seminar is a platform to discuss the protection of the intellectual property rights of Indigenous Peoples. Indigenous Peoples’ representatives and organizations, scientific and educational organizations collecting and documenting traditional knowledge, intellectual property experts, and Indigenous youth are invited to participate in the discussion.
